Every day should start with a good laugh. Having just watched Ken Olbermann on The Military Commissions Act, this day more than most. To that end, Mike Jagger describes how not to wire a home security system in Why millions of home alarm systems are useless….

(Note: in both Jagger’s and Schneier’s posts there’s a number of comments that seem to misunderstand the thrust of Jagger’s post and assume he’s attacking the system itself. He is not, he’s criticizing the installation done on the system.)
