Last Sunday I flew down to LA for a week of integration testing with the client (very successfully, I might add). Over-heard while standing in the security line in front of a group of returning Alaskan cruise-goers:
Woman 1: “I’m so thisty, I’m so dehydrated!”
Her friend: “Why?”
Woman 1: “I haven’t had anything to drink all morning!”
Her friend: “Why?!?”
Woman 1: “They said no liquids… I didn’t want to take a chance.”
Later in line, while they’re filling out their customs declaration card:
Her friend: “Do we have food?”
Her husband: “We have those chocolates.”
Her friend: “Are chocolates food?”
Her husband: “I’m not sure… I think it’s candy.”
