Wanted in Vancouver: Good, Reputable Mechanic

Having driven my ‘95 Jeep YJ all the way across the country (4500 Km in total) I figure I should probably take it in for an oil change and tune-up. Anyone in Vancouver have a good garage they like and recommend? Experience with Jeeps is a bonus.

I usually go to Nic’s Garage on West 1st. Being a computer guy, I’m not super-knowledgeable about automobile mechanics, so it would be easy for a mechanic to take advantage of my ignorance. Nic’s stands for “Non-Intimidating Car Service”, and they’ve built their reputation on honesty, etc. (http://www.nicsgarage.com/aboutus.html) I’m not sure if they’re the cheapest, but I do feel like I can trust them.
Thanks Patrick, I’ll check them out. Cheapest isn’t as important as quality and reliability (actually I put very little importance on that when looking for a mechanic - ‘cheap’ is not something I look for when getting brakes done, for instance).
And if you happen to be in Toronto and looking for a good garage, I heartily recommend Pontieri Auto Services down on the Esplanade. They were my mechanic for the two years I lived down there and did great work.
I take my 95 altima to Everbloom garage at Clark near 1st. It has 5 hoists so it is big. Repairs are guarrantied and asians patronize it because prices are reasonable. Tell Frank I sent you.
