I’ve updated my install of WordPress but in the process my WPBlacklist plugin stopped working. It turns out that it’s been silently blocking dozens of comment spam a day and now that it’s gone, they’re all getting through for moderation.

Rather than deal with the deluge I’ve disabled comments until I find a suitable replacement.

Have you tried out Spam Karma 2? It’s a freakin amazing WP Spam plugin.

The built-in Akismet plugin is working quite well for us.

How are you doing nowadays, anyway?

I’ve turned on Akismet to see how that handles things. So far, so good.

Joe, I’ll fire you off an email. In a nutshell: things are great! And congrats on the software release at HOPE, that’s a pretty sweet accomplishment.
