Finally At Home in Vancouver

After ten days of road-tripping (and six month of flying back and forth across Canada) I’m now a permanent resident of Vancouver and already I can feel my driving skills getting worse* and a strong desire to get up at 6am for a jog….
Apparently it’ll be a few more days until all of my stuff can say the same thing (”it has left Saskatoon…”) so for now I get to enjoy the thrill of camping in my own furniture-free living room (Therm-a-rest: carpet and bed in one convenient package). Next up: high-speed internet access.
But first, I see mountains; time to go rock climbing.
(*You have the worst drivers in Canada, Vancouver. Yes, you really do. I’m talking to you cute girl who used all three lanes to make a single right-hand turn and guy who cut me off in the middle lane and then slowed down to a crawl apparently because you couldn’t figure out if your exit was on the right or the left.)

Why does your blog smell simulataneously like wheatgrass and granola?
Through in a little sea salt and mountain-filtered water and you’ve got my new life in a nutshell lady, an organic, grown-by-hippies nutshell.
