It’s not often I get excited by the Food Network but this Wednesday: Susur Lee vs. Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America.

Normally I also wouldn’t give a rat’s ass about Iron Chef America, that bastardization of the original Iron Chef that seems to have taken over, but this is Susur Lee and he hails from Toronto and we in Toronto love our food and our chefs (and if you live in Toronto and can’t name two world-class chefs, shame on you. No, really, shame). If this city’s got anything, it’s got damned fine food.
