Dick Cheney tries to assassinate a lawyer:

…the ranch’s owner, said Sunday that Cheney was using a 28-guage shotgun and that Whittington was about 30 yards away when he was hit in the cheek, neck and chest.

And by “assassinate” I mean “shot accidentally”, and by “accidentally” I mean “assassinate”.

You know what I admire about Cheney? He has the Secret Service at his beck and call, probably standing right there, and yet he does the job himself. I like that.
