Duplicating Rulers in TextEdit

I’ve begun using TextEdit for pretty much all my documentation needs. Between it, OmniGraffle and BBEdit there ain’t nothing lacking (I do try to use Word every few months since that’s what the rest of the world seems to use but it’s a. slow and b. has butt-ugly text rendering compared to TextEdit so I don’t).
Today I discovered that you can copy ‘n paste formatting for TextEdit’s ruler, which is extremely handy when you’re writing documentation. To copy the current ruler settings: Opt-Cmd-C. To paste the current ruler settings: Opt-Cmd-V.
Sure beats dragging that little T and triangle back and forth across the top of the page every single time.
Update: Adam points out that the ruler also contains a drop-down menu called Styles into which one’s own text and ruler styles can be saved. Makes for even easier, faster application. Very nice.
