Komodo: The love-in continues

A few more hours with Komodo and the love-in continues. It’s still slower in places than I’d like but I console myself with the knowledge that really, I can only type so fast and often think slower than I type. Nah, that’s bollocks - I’d love to see this app run faster.
Regardless, a “no particular order” list of other impressive things I like about Komodo now that I’ve been using it for PHP:
- code completion
- multiple projects open at the same time
- block indentation by Tab
(BBEdit: pay attention to this!) - block un-indentation (de-indentation?) by Shift-Tab
- code folding
Haven’t used it enough to have a Wish List set yet, but I’m sure that will come in time.
Update: It appears that the personal edition doesn’t have integration with source control, which would be unfortunate. Hopefully this will change in the future; I’d love to be able to use this with Subversion.
Update: BBEdit does have tab-indentation but it’s not the Tab character. Instead: Cmd-]. I learn something every day.

BBEdit does block indentation. But it uses the Mac keyboard equivalent - Command-] - not tab, which has pre-defined meaning on the Mac.
