Sometimes the developers on the Windows side of the world are just so cute. They look at the Mac and see that it’s superior, and then go out and try to mimic that without actually understanding what makes it superior, and then we end up with crap like this UI of a Windows media player called Songbird (I’m not linking to it, I don’t want to drive traffic to them - Google it if you care).

But gradients make it superior… right?
It’s true, I forgot about that. Long live the gradient (especially gold and blue ones)
