“Take him out”

Religious fundamentalists are in the news again these days, once more advocating the killing of foreign citizens as a means of subjugating the rest of the world to their will.
That’s right, I’m talking about Pat Robertson who called for the “taking out” of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez the other day.
‘Course Robertson, being the man of integrity and back-bone that he is, is now back-peddling so fast that the ladies in my spinning class can barely keep up:
“I didn’t say ‘assassination.’ I said our special forces should ‘take him out.’ And ‘take him out’ can be a number of things, including kidnapping; there are a number of ways to take out a dictator from power besides killing him. I was misinterpreted….
If anyone ever said the Special Forces should “take me out”, I’d be out’a here so fast there’d be a sonic boom. Unless of course Robertson meant “take out” in the very gay sense of “our Special Forces should take him out… on a date. He seems very nice sort of fellow that mom would like” in which case that makes Pat Robertson a flaming homo.
So which is it Pat: confidently gay or rabidly insane?
