Everyone who’s ever tried to write software for OS X has at some point written an iTunes controller. They litter the shareware landscape like so many discarded empty beer bottles, labels bleaching into obscurity by the harsh desert sun of developer neglect.
Nice eh?
I say this because I too once wrote an iTunes controller though it was marginally different in that it controlled iTunes on other computers. Regardless, I’ve never found a good iTunes controller until Synergy, and it’s great.
As I tried it out it actually had me laughing with pleasure at just how well-implemented it is. It’s fast, sleek, unobtrusive and completely customizable. In short: thus far the perfect iTunes controller.
