Five times in the head

London police shot a guy in connection with the recent bombings, which is understandable since the absolute last thing Britons should have to put up with right now is more crazy sumbitches blowing them up… except that they shot the wrong guy. They shot him a lot in fact, five times in the head. Five, in the head. Wrong guy. Oops - no take-backs.

Being Canadian and all I’m no gun expert. In fact I’ve never had an opportunity to shoot anything in the head, but I’m going to guess that when you shoot someone in the head five times that might be three, maybe four times more than necessary? And you should probably be sure the person who’s head you’re removing actually deserves it.

The man who was shot to death at point blank range by police at a London subway station had nothing to do with the failed bombing attempt in the British capital earlier this week.

Police have identified the man as 27-year-old Brazilian citizen Jean Charles de Menezes.

The man tripped while he was being chased and officers shot him, fearing he was carrying a bomb. One stunned witness Mark Whitby said the man looked petrified, “like a cornered fox.”
