David Akin almost off-handedly mentions in his recent post about PureTracks moving into the States:
But here in Canada, Apple’s music store has not yet been switched on (although my friend and former colleague Robert Thompson of the National Post reported last week that Apple was ready to light it up any day now).
To Apple and whomever else is holding this process up (for I don’t doubt if Apple had their way they’d be here already) I say: “wtf? I have $700 in spare change weighing down the shelves in my office at home that I would spend on 700 good songs right now, given the choice. Get a move on l’il dogies!”
(Grat.plug: If you’re a Canadian internet junkie you need to go over and add David’s blog to your RSS subscriptions list.)
