I like the punk rock. While bumming around the TorrentVerse I can across a few punk bands I’d never heard of that are pretty damned good, if you like that sort of thing:
- Dogwood, “Seismic”. Hit and miss as far as this album goes, but the ones that hit are excellent.
- Welt, “Brand New Dream”. The lead singer has a great voice and this band can actually play. The better of the two.
In other news, this just in from a friend:
wanna hear something crazy? my friend in france has a friend who was arrested yesterday for having 1600 mp3s available. she faces 3 years in jail and/or a 100,000 euro fine. the cops came and arrested her yesterday and confiscated her hard drive.
