Pro-Liberal PC Ads?

Recently the Ontario PC party has been airing an ad attacking the Ontario Liberal party. That’s nothing new, happens all the time in elections. What is unique about this ad is that it’s doing a hell of a good job of swaying me towards the Liberals.
The ad accuses Liberal leader Dalton McGuinty of supporting teacher strikes and of refusing to support lock-outs of teachers who are striking.
Well, how is that a bad thing? Teachers are some of the most over-worked, underpaid professionals in our society. They shape the minds of those who will come after us. Personally, I want them to be well-paid, be enjoying decent job security, be working reasonable hours with reasonable class sizes and feel appreciated for it all. Anyone who believes that forcing teachers to work will somehow produce smarter minds in their students out the other side of the machine is delusional.
So yes, I too support teachers and their right to strike for better pay and better working conditions. I too support students looking for reasonable class sizes and decent tuitions.
Sorry Ernie, tough luck. Maybe folks with enough cash to place their kids in private schools, schools not affected by the teacher and school-funding cuts instituted by the previious PC party, will be more sympathetic to your plight.
Jackass.
