Parallels Support Forums: Nope, Not There Either
With Parallels 3.0 crashing like Mr Magoo in bumper cars and no other responses from the Parallels folks I figured I’d head into their support forums and post my results, including crash logs, there since I can make Parallels 3.0 seg fault almost at will.
I own Parallels, I have a support forum account, but trying to post gets me:

People at Parallels come on, enough already. It’s like you want your users to dislike you.
I swear, not even Microsoft makes it this difficult to help them. Throw a dog a bone and open up at least one line of communication.
Update: After poking about with Parallels for a couple hours I am now largely confident the problem with 4128 is its audio support. Just before a crash or kernel panic the audio cuts out. It appears that disabling the audio playback in the resident Windows application provides a measure of stability (I haven’t crashed in about three hours of constant use thus far) so this probably means no games for the time being and if your apps play any sounds at all I’d disable them in that app’s preferences.

Hiya — I’m seeing exactly the same thing after an update to build 4128, both on my 17″ MBP and my wife’s brand spanking new 15″ MBP. It seems to not just be audio, but also some ActiveX controls which cause it to go pop - if I’m using IE to do a Windows Update it’s largely going to go pop and trying to submit a form (!) also caused it to go.
We’ve had one kernel panic as well, but hopefully that’s it.
Report submitted to Parallels, but not really hopeful of a reply. An acknowledgement of the issue would be nice though.

Your Parallels VMs should still be safe (probably in ~/Documents/Parallels/) so if I were you I’d just dump the Parallels dir from your Applications and re-install. Sounds like less pain than trying to rebuild the structure.

I agree….Parrallels must be in business for the quick buck!! They cant last long with absolute awfull service that they are providing to this point. I have multiple problems with the VM and can 0.00 assistance for my $79.00 purchase just about a month ago. I don’t think it will help, but I plan to contact the BBB and lodge as many complaints as I can. If anyone can help me with the following I would greatly appiciate it: I have a MacBook Pro (new) and am running Parralles with XP pro VM. Shared internet works fine if I am connecting the Mac with my airport, wireded or Verizon Wireless USB device. The VM works fine with all but the Verizon USB device. I need the Verizon device to connect both the Mac and the XP VM while I am out of the office. I have spent 3 full days trying to get an answer to this problem and am just about at my wits end. Thanks in advance
